**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and the development of internal control policies and procedures. The Financial Controller will also be responsible for managing financial risks, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and establishing financial strategies for the organization's long-term financial health and growth.

**Responsibilities**:
**Financial Planning and Analysis**:

- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Monitor financial KPIs and variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

**Financial Reporting and Compliance**:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP or relevant accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial reporting guidelines.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with auditors to provide necessary information and documentation.

**Internal Controls and Risk Management**:

- Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard assets, ensure accuracy of financial records, and mitigate risks.
- Assess and manage financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks, and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

**Cash Management and Treasury**:

- Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational requirements and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor banking activities and ensure proper management of banking relationships, including negotiation of terms and conditions.

**Tax Planning and Compliance**:

- Oversee all tax-related matters, including tax planning, compliance, and reporting.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.

**Team Leadership and Development**:

- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully managing financial operations, implementing internal controls, and driving process improvements.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data and trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills preferred.
