**Job Purpose**:
To lead, manage and oversee the University’s student financial aid services, including government loan schemes (e.g. PTPTN, MARA), sponsorship programs, internal financial assistance, and scholarship administration. The role ensures regulatory compliance, promotes efficient disbursement processes, and supports students in obtaining financial assistance to access higher education.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Aid & Loan Management**
- Manage relationships with statutory and non-statutory financial aid providers, including JPA, Zakat, and private sponsors.
- Ensure compliance with requirements set by PTPTN, MARA, MOHE, and regulatory bodies regarding documentation, data protection, and audit requirements.

**Student Financial Services**
- Plan and implement financial literacy programs for students (e.g., PTPTN repayment education, budgeting workshops).

**Data, Compliance & Reporting**
- Maintain an accurate, secure, and up-to-date database of student financial aid records.
- Prepare and submit timely reports to management, sponsors, and regulatory agencies (e.g., PTPTN monthly loan status report).
- Coordinate audits or reviews from external funders and ensure full compliance with MOHE financial assistance regulations.

**Team Leadership & Strategy**
- Supervise bursary officers and assign responsibilities effectively.
- Lead improvements in bursary workflows, automation, and digital submissions to enhance efficiency.
- Propose strategies to increase student access to scholarships, loans, and sponsorships.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a higher education setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of PTPTN, MARA, and other funding mechanisms.
- Familiarity with MOHE compliance requirements and audit processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, student information systems, and financial aid portals (e.g., SIPA, e-MARA).

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- High integrity and attention to detail.
- Effective communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments (Finance, Registry, Student Affairs).
- Strategic mindset with a student-centered approach.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
