About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at SINARAN ADVANCE GROUP BERHAD. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial accounting and reporting functions for our organisation. This is a full-time position based in our Petaling Jaya, Selangor office.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the full accounting cycle including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and general ledger management
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, forecasts and other reports to provide insights and recommendations to management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Manage the finance team and oversee the implementation of efficient financial processes and controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and business objectives
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the company's financial strategy

What we're looking for

  • Qualified accountant with 5+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the accounting or finance industry
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills with a thorough understanding of IFRS and Malaysian accounting standards
  • Proven experience in managing a finance function, including people management and process improvement
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to provide strategic financial insights
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems
