**Job Summary**:
Healthcare Coordinator provides administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers and patients in the clinic. They ensure that the clinic runs smoothly by managing patient appointments, assisting in medical procedures, maintaining patient records, and helping with basic patient care tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Interaction & Support**:

- Greet patients and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Provide general information to patients regarding clinic policies, services, and procedures.
- Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for medical examinations.
- **Administrative Tasks**:

- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Maintain and update patient medical records and files.
- Process billing and insurance claims.
- Handle patient registration and collect required documents.
- Order and stock medical supplies and equipment.
- **Clinical Support**:

- Assist healthcare providers during medical examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms by ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next patient.
- Collect and prepare lab specimens (e.g., blood, urine samples) for testing.
- Administer medications or injections under supervision (depending on local regulations and qualifications).
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight.
- **Clinic Maintenance**:

- Ensure all equipment is sanitized and maintained in proper working order.
- Keep waiting areas and clinic rooms clean and organized.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and patients.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Certificate in medical assisting or relevant healthcare experience (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer software and office equipment.
