JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our Communications & Employee Engagement intern will work on projects with the Astro Employee Engagement team on the following:

- Learn and help with day-to-day employee engagement activities including event planning, event execution and project management.
- Help with the writing of communications and design visuals for internal communication to Astro employees.
- Get on the job experience by supporting any ad-hoc department requirements/deployments.

Experience helping with the curation of Astro’s Employer Branding by creating content for social media (Linkedin and Instagram), including event photo taking and video editing.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Undergraduates who have completed their first two (2) years’ of a Marketing, Business or Communications Degree course, with preferably a CGPA of 3.2 or 2nd Upper.- Have good speaking and writing skills in English. Ability to demonstrate some creative writing skills in English will be an added advantage.- Good interpersonal and communication skills, pleasant personality.- Have interest or have some experience in managing projects in university.- Having some design experience using Canva or Adobe tools will be an added advantage.- Ability to shoot, edit videos and take photographs will be an added advantage.- Have strong sense of teamwork. Displays enthusiasm when given tasks, able to communicate with people at various seniority levels and work together in a project or team environment.- Able to work independently from time to time.- Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Powerpoint.
