Job Description
- Review events and create potential actions to reduce safety hazards and business continuity impacts.
- Drive quantitative and qualitative data analysis to review existing operations and future scenarios.
- Conceptualise & adjust or create departmental analysis tools and techniques to drive data value.
- Plan, document and liaise with required stakeholders for software, interfaces and data exchange requirements with internal teams and external software vendors or interested parties. Automation and exception threshold alerting should be two key themes.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary, ensuring data streams, data validated differences and optimal use strategies are known per data element.
- Act as OTP data owner, ensuring daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, YoY and adhoc request reporting.
- Ensure budget, to plan, to operational differences are captured through data integration & forecasting. Help the SME’s conduct and complete root cause analysis and business impact assessments. Clarify and communicate multiple data truth scenarios across SMEs.
- Mentor and train SMEs on the use of reports, reporting tools or advanced techniques as necessary.
- In conjunction with the Group Improvement Manager conduct sampling at bases and at outstations on check-in, embarkation, disembarkation and baggage handling procedures to validate perceived variance reasons and proposed solutions.
- Maintain awareness of industry activities & if requested represent the department and Company at conferences/events.

**Desired Skills & Experience:

- **
- At least 2 years as a business analyst or operational researcher
- University Graduate - preferred fields of Business, Mathematics, Operational Research or Transport Management
- Visualisation and/or reporting tool knowledge an advantage
- Ideally, Green Belt / Lean process trained
- Practical experience of joining multiple large database sources and data transformation required
- Proficient in oral and written English
- Expert in Microsoft and Google software. Familiarity with AIMs and AMOS and advantage.
