Room Division Coordinator

**Job Overview**:
The Room Division Coordinator plays a vital administrative and operational role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Rooms Division, which includes Housekeeping and Engineering department. This role acts as the central point of communication and coordination across these departments to enhance guest satisfaction, ensure seamless service delivery, and support operational efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate daily operations between Housekeeping and Engineering and work closely with other departments to ensure timely room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Handling administration and support to the Rooms Division leadership team, including scheduling, internal communications, reports, and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to staff schedules, policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Facilitate communication between shifts and departments to ensure smooth handovers and operational consistency.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports including occupancy, room status, and update of room division inventories as per management guidelines.
- To assist onboarding activities for new team members within the Rooms Division.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or issues and follow through with the appropriate team to ensure resolution.
- To assist respective Room Division Head with other ad hoc and urgent tasks as and when needed as per Operational needs.
**Requirements**:
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience in hotel operations, particularly Front Office or Housekeeping.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and administration skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS)
- Open to Malaysian citizen only*
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
