We are a global mining company that engages in the mining, trading and supply chain of minerals and quarry products in Malaysia.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful completion of gold mining projects in Malaysia. This role requires a strong leader who can manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to execution and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of coal mining projects, ensuring all milestones are met within budget and on time.
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and local communities.
- Ensure all operations comply with Malaysian mining regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Provide regular updates to management on project status, including financial performance, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in the gold mining industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a project management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Deep understanding of mining operations, project management methodologies, and regulatory requirements in Malaysia.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
