**Company Description**

A leading global Company that is specialized in the development, manufacturing, marketing and selling of high-value fertilizers throughout the world. The Company has presence in three regions, namely: Asia, Europe and the Americas. Within Asia the Company is currently established with own entities in China, India and Malaysia. The Company’s revenues in Asia Pacific are EUR 67 m/year.

The Regional Director of APAC reports directly to the CEO of the Group Company based in Europe. He or she will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will be responsible for continuing the started profitable growth trajectory of the region.

The position will be responsible for the profitability and growth trajectory of Company’s fertilizers in the APAC region and as part of the global management team to execute and further develop one of the many projects and initiatives to increase the specialties sales in the region.

The position will be required to travel extensively in the APAC region as and when required to support the regional team for business development purpose.

**Position’s Responsibilities**:
The main responsibilities, but not limited to those below, are as follows:

- Develop and execute the Company’s business strategies to reach the company’s goals.
- Provide strategic advice to the superiors so that they will have an accurate view of the market to define and implement the Company’s strategy and tactics for growth.
- Prepare and implement business plans to facilitate achievement by planning

cost-effective operations and market development activities.
- Ensure Company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the Company and that they are always followed.
- Communicate and maintain trustful relationships with superiors, business partners and authorities.
- Oversee the region’s financial performance, investments and other business ventures. This involves taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and quality targets.
- Agree on annual budgets and prepare detailed annual business operating plans, monthly reporting on target achievement, revenues, profits and cash.
- Delegate responsibilities, provide guidance and motivate employees to drive maximum performance
- Represent the Company in ways that strengthen its profile.
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences; suggest solutions to support profitable growth.
- Develop brand strategies and implement them to promote the Company’s products and services

**Position’s Requirements**:

- Academic_
1. University degree in agricultural science, business administration or equivalent.

2. Degree or sound knowledge in Finance would be highly desirable.

3. Professional level (oral & writing) in English and Mandarin.

4. Basic / conversational level in Spanish is desirable.

- Management and multicultural skills already well developed
- Proactive person with proven experience as a Managing Director (minimum 5 years) or other managerial position with knowledge of the specialty fertilizer and agricultural market.
- Experienced in business development.
- Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills are required.
- Presentation, analytical and planning skills are also essential.
- People management, customer service and leadership skills are crucial for the role.
- International mind-set, intercultural experience.

**Compensation**:
A global standard level of salary package will be provided under Malaysia contract.

**Additional Information**

Pay: From RM750,000.00 per year
