**Chef De Partie (Kuala Lumpur)**
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
**Running entire kitchen operations**:
- Key roles in a commercial kitchen where has to prepare specifics dishes and needed to oversee the operations in a kitchen
- Perform culinary, esponsibi and leadership functions, in order to ensure the personnel in their area if esponsibility perform their duties effectively
- Follow instruction given by immediate superior to complete daily tasks.
- Ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costs on an ongoing basis
- Ensure effective communication between staffs
- Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct way of equipment and utensils usage
**Assisting head chef in new dishes**:
- Helping in R&D when necessary
- Creating new dishes or come out with new menus, seasonal, buffet & Staff Meal
- Menu creation whilst maintaining quality and controlling costs
**Resolve any problems may occur**:
- Any feedback or reviews from guests, improvement of the food
- Any problem regarding kitchenware, chiller, freezer & etc
- Maintaining all department equipment and report malfunctioning
- Daily feedback collection and reporting of issues as arise.
**Prep & Cooking of the food**:
- Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met.
- Full awareness of all menu items, the recipes, methods of production and etc
- Follow good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature.
- Check periodically expiry dates and proper storage of items
**Section staff organisation and training**:
- Organize friendly working environment
- Establishing and maintaining effective inter-departmental working relationships
- Guide and trains the subordinates on a daily basis to ensure high motivation and economical working environment
- Train new staff on station basis when needed
**Plating and presentation of dishes**:
- Perform quality check before serving the food
- Do proper plating on special events according to the menus given
- Hygiene & cleanliness on the plating
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a
Demi Chef de Partie role
- Strong coaching skills
- Ability and desire to motivate teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Achieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Supervisory experience
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
Schedule:
