Audio Post-production Manager

**Purpose of Job**
As Post-Production Manager, you will be responsible for the Post-Production staff, facility equipment and the post service pipeline in your region, helping to ensure the timely completion of agreed deliverables and milestones, to a very high standard. As an outsourcer it is this that brings clients back, and it is returning clients that keep the awards coming.
**Duties and Key Responsibilities**
- Supervision of staff, including project output, addressing issues, and resolving and escalating to senior management where required.
- Oversee team meetings covering postproduction requirements where needed.
- Ensure that all QA and editing by the team is completed to the highest standards and to schedule.
- Manage, review, and approve department hours ensuring and highlighting any concerns to the Head of Post-Production or Technical Director.

- Liaise with clients about the best practices for their deliverables.
- Liaise with staff about the best practices for the post-production pipeline.
- Prepare studio sessions’ assets such as audio and video reference files and dialogue scripts.
- Maintain and update Post-Production hardware and software in your region.
- Develop Post-Production services, processes, and workflow as part of a global team.
- Develop staff in their roles to ensure they can fulfil SIDE’s requirements.
- Report to line manager regarding staff and workflow issues.
- Be on site as and when required to supervise staff and project requirements.
**Management**
- Management and development of the Post-Production team in your region, including overseeing the KPI process.
- Lead, coach, and develop your Post-Production team to ensure effective and efficient output.
- Conduct regular 1to1’s to issue feedback on performance in relation to KPI and tasks undertaken.
- Help identify Recruitment needs and management of resource planning.
- To work in collaboration with the Head of Post-Production to ensure best practices are kept.
- To focus and grow the team in your region.

**Knowledge, Experience and Skills**
- Understand AGILE methodologies.
- Excellent client facing and internal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- 4+ years’ experience in a commercial audio Postproduction role, ideally working for some time within studio.
- Experience working with many files across multiple projects and languages.
- The ability to strategize and allocate resources for upcoming projects.
- Experienced user of Pro Tools and other DAWs.
- Experienced user of Audition, RX, or other similar software.
- Experienced user of MS Office, especially Excel.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
