**Responsibilities**:
The primary focus of this position is on inventory management and analysis. The operations business analyst will monitor inventory levels and activity in order to identify any potential excess or obsolete (E&O) inventory with the goal of eliminating or mitigating any negative impact. The analyst will perform root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improving overall inventory management.

**Other Job Responsibilities**
- Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
- Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
- Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
- Collects data to identify root cause of problems. Measures performance against process requirements.
- Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
- May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
- Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
- Performs cost and benefit analyses.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication/coordination skills.
- Teamwork spirit to prioritize organization/ team direction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in the use of SAP or similar enterprise systems is desirable.
- Experience in Inventory Management of a Global Environment is desirable.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in Kinaxis Environment would be added as an advantage.
