Position : Site Supervisor

Report to : Construction Manager/Engineer

Responsibility

a. To assist construction Manager to monitor and co-ordinate in the following areas in order to achieve timely completion as per work program and satisfactory conformance to desired quality cost and standards:

- Coordination of site activity
- Checking of drawings
- Administration and planning
- In charge of warehouse
- General

COORDINATION OF SITE ACTIVITY

i. Ensure all works to be done according to specification and drawings

ii. Job delegation to subordinate and workers

iii. Monitoring work progress and quality control of various sub-contractors

iv. Co-ordinate among various trades of sub-contractors

v. Site control including workers’ overtime, operator’s overtime, usage of plant, machinery and equipment etc.

vi. Preparation and submission of site diary

vii. Site arrangement e.g. worker, material and machinery

viii. Site material ordering and delivery

ix. Record day work and submit to superior for certification at the end of the day

x. To monitor relevant testing and report to superior

xi. Co-ordinate, plan and supervise site works

xii. Liaise with respective personnel on matter regarding site safety

xiii. Check drawings discrepancies between Office, Site, Sub-contractors, Client (whichever relevant

CHECKING OF DRAWINGS

i. Check drawing discrepancies between office, site, sub-contractors, Client (whichever relevant)

ii. Counter check alignments / level

ADMINISTRATION AND PLANNING

i. Plan ahead on construction material ordering / hiring / buying machinery equipment and tools for site use

ii. Record day work (including sub-contractors day work)

iii. Plan ahead and inform superior of the commencement of day work

iv. Record day work and submit to superior for certification at the end of the day

GENERAL

i. Attend site meeting

ii. Promote teamwork with site team, sub-contractor, client and sub-contractor

iii. Monitor and control usage of material

iv. Work in tandem with the respective personnel to ensure minimum injuries or damage at site

b. Responsible for duties and functions as stipulated in Project, Purchasing, Human Resource and Management Procedures of the firm’s Quality Management System

c. Ensure all related QMS activities are implemented effectively

d. To undertake any other related duties assigned by superior

Authority

Authorized to make recommendation on all issues related site

Minimum Qualification

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent Diploma

Experience and Skill Requirements
- Minimum One (1) years relevant working experience
- Able to work independently and a self-starter
- Hardworking and result orientated

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
