EZHR is seeking a HR Consultant to support our workforce in Malaysia.

In this role, you will be essential in ensuring smooth HR operations and providing support to employees and management in a different environment.

This position reports directly to the director.

**Main Responsibilities**

- **Employee Services**
- Address employee inquiries regarding HR-related issues, policies, and procedures.
- Provide assistance with HR-related matters and guide employees to the appropriate resources.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy.
- **New Hire Orientation**
- Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies, procedures, and culture.
- Prepare and distribute onboarding materials.
- Ensure new hires complete all necessary paperwork and training.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions when needed.
- **Recruitment and placement**
- Perform the end-to-end recruitment function.
- Negotiate offers and manage the placement process to ensure a positive experience for all parties.
- **Compensation and benefit**
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Employment Act
- Perform end to end payroll and statutory billing process.To ensure timely and accurate delivery for clients.
- Ensure all necessary approvals and signatures are in place to complete the payroll process within the stipulated timeline.
- Liaise with local authorities and service providers in relation to statutory matters.
- **HRIS management**
- Set up, maintain and update the HRIS.
- Process and update - leave and claim (if applicable).
- **Performance management**
- Conduct monthly/quarterly/yearly performance appraisal.
- **Other Ad-Hoc Duties**
- **Other ad-hoc duties**as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- A degree in any field (HR, Business, Psychology, or related areas) or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR-related role is preferred.
- Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems.
- A team player with strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible, hardworking, and eager to learn.
- Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
