Nikkiso Cryoquip is a leading manufacturer of heat exchangers, liquefiers, and vaporizers for the LNG and industrial gases industry. Applications include fueling stations, marine engines, peak shaving, power generation, virtual pipelines, and well stimulation.

**Summary/Objective**

As a result of Nikkiso Clean Energy and Industrial Gases (Nikkiso CEIG) growth and the competitive advantages of the Malaysia / SEA region, Nikkiso CEIG group has decided to implement an operational structure in charge for all operational activities at our Malaysian Facility oversee by a General Manager.

The current Malaysian facility provides manufacturing activities for the Heat Exchanger (HX) functional unit, as well as assembly of pumps for the Pump functional unit. Recent developments with obtaining ASME U stamp, and looking at further localization of the pump part sourcing, provides further expansion of the products and services the facility can provide to the broader group.

The General Manager would have dual reporting through to the VP of Nikkiso CEIG for SEA and Functional Lead within the HX functional unit in the USA.

The position ensures increasing levels of customer (internal and external) and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials and machines and will have its dedicated operational structure.

**Essential Functions/Responsibilities**

- Responsible for all aspects of manufacturing activities including personnel, quality, safety, cost, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, planning, and business controls.
- Plans and organizes daily, weekly and monthly activities related to production and operations.
- Responsible for the BHD P+L, budget, and achievement of established financials and performance targets.
- Responsible locally for HR, Payroll, Quality, ISO9001, local engineering
- Provides site leadership through effective communication, coaching, and accountability.
- Ensures continuous improvement and swift problem resolution in an open, fair, and unselfish manner.
- Manages material requirements to increase inventory turnover and reduce stock/inventory levels on hand.
- Implementation of systems and structure for continuous 2C5+ cost cutting measures, an initiative to cut costs by 5% every 2 years.
- Utilize the current ERP system (MYOB) and be prepared for the implementation of the groups new global ERP.
- Determines labor needs to meet production goals and responsible for appropriate staffing levels for each functional unit at the facility.
- Ensures compliance with state & federal regulations and Nikkiso CEIG policies.
- Provides oversight of the engineering function at the Malaysian facility, with local engineering management having dotted line reporting to Australia and the USA.
- Ensure compliance with standards and developing standard drawings and specifications for the business.
- Works cooperatively in a matrix structure with the BLM’s of other functional units
- Collaborates with related managers at other group manufacturing facilities (CUK, MAY, CQH, NCI, MEL, Rhine etc.)
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Cooperates with other Nikkiso CEIG Group Operational managers to follow the group Mission and Vision
