**Position Overview**:
The Kitchen Helper plays a crucial role in supporting food preparation and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. This position is responsible for assisting in food preparation, daily kitchen housekeeping, and supporting the chef in day-to-day operations. The Kitchen Helper is accountable for cleaning and preparing basic food items, arranging food items properly, and completing ad-hoc assignments as assigned by superiors.

**Responsibility and Accountability**:
Food Preparation Support:

- Assist in food preparation tasks such as cutting and assisting the commis.
- Follow instructions from chefs and colleagues to support efficient food preparation.

Kitchen Housekeeping:

- Responsible for daily kitchen housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and regular cleaning of kitchen surfaces and equipment.

Chef Support:

- Assist the chef in day-to-day kitchen operations as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Basic Food Preparation:

- Clean and prepare basic food items, such as vegetables and ingredients, as instructed.
- Maintain food items in proper storage and condition.

Food Item Arrangement:

- Arrange all food items properly for easy access during food preparation.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of food items.

Ad-hoc Assignments:

- Perform ad-hoc assignments and tasks assigned by superiors in a timely manner.
- Show flexibility and adaptability to meet kitchen requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Possess at least a primary/ secondary school
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques is a plus
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation standards
- Ability to work under direction and follow instructions
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks.

**Work location**:

- KLCC area

**Eligibility**:

- This vacancy is open for Malaysian and Malaysian PR only.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
