Technician Repair for Forklift/ Mechanic

Contract duration: 12 Months

Working Hours: Mon - Sat, 6 days/week (1 day off on rotational basis)/ ◦ 45 hours/week based on roster (rotational shifts)

Location : DDR SOC (Syarikat Logistik Petikemas Ddragon Warehouse, 42000 Pulau Indah, Selangor)

Salary Package: RM 2500

1. Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs on powered pallet truck (PPT), hand pallet truck (HPT) and forklift including hydraulic, electrical and battery charging systems.

2. Perform safety inspections and testing on powered pallet truck to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

3. Dismantle and reassemble component and equipment using hoist and hand tools and replace worn or damaged parts and components as needed.

4. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts inventory and service logs using Appsheet (CMMS).

5. Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work as well as overhauling task to ensure operating efficiency.

6. Consult with manufacturers and distributors regarding equipment, parts and technical data

7. Assist in training key personnel on proper power pallet truck operation and safety procedures.

8. Read and understand operating manuals, troubleshooting guide and wiring schematics.

9. Other duties that may be assigned

**Requirement**

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience as forklift technician or mechanic

2. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams and schematics

3. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to PPT & HPT operation and maintenance

4. Must be thorough, detail-oriented, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities.

5. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

6. Diploma or equivalent, vocational training in forklift or heavy lifting machine is a plus

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,000.17 - RM2,500.00 per month
