About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic and Technician for Diesel Engines to join our team at Million Service Sdn Bhd in Klang, Selangor. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. As a key member of our Automotive Trades team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our diverse fleet of diesel-powered machinery.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting routine inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance on diesel engines and related components
  2. Troubleshooting and repairing diesel engine issues using appropriate tools and equipment
  3. Performing scheduled servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and component adjustments
  4. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations
  5. Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and spare parts used
  6. Providing technical guidance and support to other team members as required

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanic or Technician, specialising in the maintenance and repair of diesel engines
  2. Formal training or qualifications in automotive mechanics, with a focus on diesel engine systems
  3. Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools commonly used in the automotive industry
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to identify and resolve complex issues
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  6. Good written and verbal communication skills to liaise with team members and clients
