Mechanical/Maintenance Engineer

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for machinery and equipment (maintenance Planning).
  • Identify and diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Work closely with other engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • To develop, implement and review guidelines, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Work Instruction (WI).
  • Provide training and support to junior maintenance staff and operators on proper equipment use and maintenance procedures.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve maintenance processes and reduce equipment downtime.
  • Ensure all activities compliance with Company's ISO procedures.
  • Planning of duties, scheduling of technician.
  • Performing other duties or projects as assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
  • 3 years working experience in maintenance environment preferably with manufacturing industry.
  • Familiar with maintenance management systems.
  • An experienced candidate without an engineering background will be considered.
  • Able to work independently, possess integrity and the right sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
