Regional Payroll Specialist

About the Role
To provide, improve and communicate specialist services to the organisation according to the functional and overall HR strategy.
What to expect:
- Provide payroll operational support for any APAC countries such as Hong Kong / Malaysia / Singapore / China / India / Indonesia / Japan / S.Korea / Australia - necessary training will be provided.- Update and ensure accuracy of payroll data such as salary changes, One-time payments, reimbursements, etc in internal system- Annual Tax filing and pension related issues for all APAC countries- Liaise closely and provide clear instructions and updates to Payroll Vendor, ensure vendor complete accurate payroll activities by the strict timeline- Reconcile, review and validate payroll and manage the fund request and ensuring payday on time- Counsel regional employees and managers on issues related to payroll processing in a professional manner- Managing the offboarding process for resignee, ensuring the tax responsibility of employer and employee being address
What will make you successful:
- University degree in HR or accounting, or equivalent- At least 3 - 5 years of professional experience of which hands-on in regional experience will be preferred- Excellent communications in both spoken and written English to work with regional teams- Knowledge in labour ordinance and regulations- Experience in HRIS such as Workday will be a plus- Able to work under stress and deadlines with sense of urgency
