**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for developing and maintaining the procurement execution plan in conjunction with the project execution plan.
- You define and coordinate all sourcing, purchasing and expediting activities for your project.
- Develop, perform pre-qualification and maintain approved vendors list.
- Develop and maintain a filing system based on assigned responsibility.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Purchase of consumables, equipment and spare parts etc. from local or overseas vendors.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the most favorable prices, delivery schedules and payment terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and delivery orders and monitor delivery dates. Your responsibilities include expediting the timely delivery of goods, materials, and services.
- Establish and negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers for cost effective and good quality corporate goods and services.
- Liaise and follow up with suppliers for any discrepancies issue as and when they arise.
- Manage and monitor daily purchases and coordinate procurement related activities against allocated budget.
- Source and propose alternative materials for value engineering exercises.
- Ensure all documents are in proper order and submit promptly for accounting and audit purposes.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying delivery order of supplies.
- Assist and gather monthly consumable forecast request / report.
- Regular status and KPI reporting to the functional leads.
- Verify supplier claims and manage account payable.
- Perform supplier contact administration.
- Negotiates terms and conditions with supplier and subcontractors to minimize risk impacts.
- Resolves disputes among company related groups and suppliers

**Required expertise**:

- Proven 2-5 years’ experience in a Procurement/Purchasing role or similar role.
- Degree qualification in Quantity survey, Engineering or construction related field will be preferred.
- Knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
- Understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- You have a mindset to act, deliver results and collaborate across the organization.
- You actively take decisions and take ownership of the choices you make.
- You are open to working on dynamic projects and welcome change as a chance to grow.
- You push on your development and encourage others to explore possibilities beyond their comfort zone.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
