Material Planner

As a Material Planner, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the seamless flow of materials from suppliers to production. You will be reporting directly to the Country Supply Chain Manager SEA. **Main Responsibilities**: - To assist Material Planning Manager in the execution of overall material management activities (Purchasing and maintaining timely delivery from supplier) and supporting on any improvement initiatives. - Work with Demand Planners, Production Planner, Procurement, Departments &Technical team on the monthly build plan requirements, New Product Introduction & Phase In-Phase Out of RM or Finish Goods - Participate in the monthly Supply Review & SIOP (Sales Inventory Operational Planning) - Ensuring delivery schedule from supplier is met according to the need date and ensure NO production impact due to shortages - Perform analysis on the usage trend to ensure no stock out situation or avoid excess stock. - Have understanding in MRP and also ensuring Material Master Data is maintained (e.g., material, lead time, standard packing, safety stocks) - Comply with PPG best practices. e.g., Shelf life, FIFO and others. - To perform other related responsibilities as required **Qualifications**: - Degree or diploma in Business Studies or equivalent. - Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience in Chemical Industry and experience in procurement, material planning and supply planning - Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
