- Role Summary:

- The Product Specialist role at Viatris Malaysia is a technical and sales-oriented position that requires a deep understanding of the company’s products as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
- The Product Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, gathering, and analyzing customer feedback while working with product managers.
- Key Responsibilities:

- Accountable to develop business plan that is aligned with Viatris sales strategies and objectives.
- Have a deep understanding in the respective area and priority products. Maintain and enhance knowledge ofproducts, product strategy, positioning, key messages, programs, company developments, customers, and competitors.
- Establishing segmentation & targeting to incorporate into the business plan to align Viatris range of products with theright patients through the right customers.
- Responsible for ensuring elevated levels of productivity through field visits or calls to the customers.
- Build strong customer relationships with the objective of maximizing sales volume to achieve sales targets andmarket share of designated products on a given territory.
- Leverages on commercial programs, literature, and other items to ensure physician awareness of Viatris products.
- Differentiate products from all competitors and respond to customer issues confidently and appropriately.
- Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development to enhance selling skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree required; Science degree is preferred.
- Fluent and proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Have strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Able to travel.

- Reports to the Sales Manager/Area Business Manager.
- Works in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, HR, Medical and Finance; external stakeholders include business owners and senior leaders of business partners, government.
