This role is required to reflect our increased presence and responsibility in Japan as we establish direct distribution with our retailers and build our direct-to-consumer channels (Taka Sports retail store and e-commerce). To meet our growth ambitions, we need to build awareness, engagement, and trial amongst a broader range of prospective customers, while localising the global marketing strategy. This role will take ownership for developing and executing marketing plans locally, supported by our Marketing Manager based in Malaysia. This role will involve working with local Sales Managers, the global marketing team [Japan-based] and a host of agency/freelancer partners across the markets. The position requires a motivated, experienced, and creative marketing professional to develop and execute our marketing strategy for Japan.
TAKA SPORTS PROMOTION sdn bhd, the Golf related company was founded back in year 2012 by Mr.Taka from Japan. Back then he was running his own company in Japan where he had his plan to move his business to Malaysia due to overwhelming responses. The company work has many roles such as Player Management, Brand Promotion, Brand Distributor, Online Golf Booking and Golf Retail Store. The company is now planning for expand as the project and business started to grow from the past few years.
