**Key Responsibilities**:

- Network Management:

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure within the region.
- Ensure network reliability, performance, and security across all sites.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network engineers and technicians.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Strategic Planning:

- Collaborate with internal senior management & customers’ stakeholder to develop and implement network strategies that support business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for network improvements and innovations.
- Manage network projects from conception through implementation.
- Transformation Planning:

- Develop and execute a network transformation strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct assessments of current network infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
- Research and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance network capabilities.
- Develop business case & drive adoption
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand and address network needs.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Budget and Resource Management:

- Develop and manage the network budget for the region.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet operational and project requirements.
- Track and report on financial performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Compliance and Security:

- Ensure network operations comply with group standards and respective Operating Entity (OE) local regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect data and infrastructure.
- Stay informed about emerging threats and technologies.
- Automation:

- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Global Collaboration:

- Work with global teams to manage and deliver globally managed services. Coordinate with global teams to ensure alignment and consistency in service delivery.
- Any other duties when deemed necessary. Completing projects on various issues when needed.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in network administration and management.
- Proven leadership experience, preferably in a regional or multi-site capacity.
- Strong understanding of network technologies, protocols, and security.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Desired Attributes: Certifications in network technologies, cloud networking experience, strong project management skills.
- May be required to travel within the region to manage network sites and meet with stakeholders.
- availability to respond to network emergencies outside of regular business hours.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to RM10,000.00 per month
