Plan production schedules based on orders, forecasts, and stock levels.
- Check raw material and packaging availability before production.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Purchasing, and Sales for smooth operations.
- Monitor production progress and adjust plans when needed.
- Control inventory to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Analyze production performance and suggest improvements.
- Prepare simple reports on output, delays, and overall efficiency.Set daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicate them to all Production staff.
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing work schedules for each staff member.
- Supervise work and provide guidance to staff.
- Ensure all equipment is safe to use and maintained according to the scheduled maintenance plan.
- Ensure that all products produced meet the specifications set by the Assistant Chef.
- Submit performance and progress reports.
- Identify efficiency-related issues and propose improvements.
- Train new staff on how to operate machinery and follow established SOPs.
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
- Ensure product storage temperatures are properly controlled to prevent spoilage of raw materials.
- Inspect raw materials to ensure they are in good condition and safe for use.
- Develop effective and efficient methods for all product line processes in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure packaging quality is maintained and follows company procedures.
- Ensure production continues smoothly in the event of equipment breakdown in the packaging area.
- Find solutions to problems that arise within each department.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisors.
