About the Role

What do you want to expect:

- Manage customer billing activities, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
- Review and analyse billing data to identify discrepancies and resolve billing-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as sales, finance, and legal, to ensure accurate contract information and billing terms.
- Monitor customer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and proper documentation.
- Conduct periodic audits to identify billing and contract management risks and implement appropriate controls.
- Work closely with the sales team to validate contract terms, pricing, and discounts.
- Provide support and guidance to customers regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and dispute resolution.
- Continuously improve billing and contract processes by identifying opportunities for automation, streamlining, and efficiency enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in billing and contract management.

What will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in customer billing and contract management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of control and risk adherence principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns.
- Proficient in using billing and contract management systems/software - SAP, Confluence, Salesforce Lightning/Apttus etc
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the billing and contract management field.
