**Position Summary**:
Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient production processes within a food manufacturing facility. They are responsible for leading production teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, optimizing productivity, and maintaining a smooth workflow to meet production goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise production staff, including machine operators, packers, and line workers.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members based on production schedules and priorities.
- Monitor production lines to ensure smooth operations and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to uphold product quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, raw materials, and finished products.
- Lead initiatives to improve production processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Address any deviations from quality standards promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the production planning team to develop production schedules and resource allocation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance to ensure seamless production processes and implement best practices and innovative solutions.
- Generate reports on production KPIs and performance trends for management review.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization to enhance overall efficiency.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement within the production team.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food production processes, equipment, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of safety and quality.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, FDA regulations).
