About the role

MummyRQ Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Sungai Petani, Kedah. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient and effective production processes to meet our company's goals and objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production teams to meet production targets and quality standards
  • Monitor and optimise production workflows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Provide leadership and guidance to production team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Liaise with other departments, such as quality control and procurement, to address issues and maintain smooth operations
  • Collect and analyse production data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing practices

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as Food Manufacturing, Food Technology, Food Science
  • Able to commit with shift working hours
