As a Data Statistician for Surface Treatment, you will be responsible for leveraging statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques to optimize surface treatment processes within a manufacturing setting. This role involves working closely with production teams, quality control, and engineering to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall performance of surface treatment operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Statistical Analysis**:

- Conduct statistical analyses on data related to surface treatment processes, identifying patterns, trends, and correlations.
- Utilize statistical models and tools to analyze the impact of process variables on surface treatment outcomes.
- **Quality Control and Assurance**:

- Collaborate with quality control teams to analyze data related to surface-treated materials and components.
- Develop statistical models for quality assurance, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- **Process Optimization**:

- Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimize surface treatment processes based on statistical insights.
- Implement statistical methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall process performance.
- **Experimental Design**:

- Design experiments to evaluate the impact of new surface treatment techniques or process modifications.
- Analyze experimental data to provide recommendations for process improvements.
- **Data Visualization**:

- Create clear and informative data visualizations to communicate statistical findings to stakeholders.
- Use tools like R, Python, or other relevant software for data visualization.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality control, to integrate statistical analyses into surface treatment processes.
- Provide statistical support to address challenges and improve the overall quality of surface-treated products.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay abreast of advancements in statistical methods and technologies related to surface treatment.
- Implement new statistical approaches to enhance the effectiveness of surface treatment processes.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Master’s or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Python (with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn), or SAS.
- Strong understanding of surface treatment techniques, including coating, plating, anodizing, or similar processes.
- Excellent data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or similar.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex statistical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
