Public Relation, Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- To manage the PR & Internal Communications Unit.
- To develop PR strategies, campaigns and initiatives (both strategic and tactical) and events that support Cyberview’s and its subsidiaries’ brands and business objectives as well as the strategic communication objectives.
- To profile the MD effectively based on communication focus areas, audience profile and strategic objectives.
- To create content and copy for websites and social media, press releases, editorial materials, speeches, newsletters, internal communications etc; supporting documentations for media interviews, media events, community events, advertorials, speeches, etc. for Cyberview and all its subsidiaries.
- To drive strategy to engage with top-tier media, influencers and maintain relationships with key journalists.
- To recommend and manage media engagement platforms for events and promotions and other communication channels and opportunities that reinforce and validate the organizations messaging to increase company’s visibility.
- To manage responses to information queries from media and the public through websites or social media, etc.
- To work with relevant stakeholders to develop and deliver communication specifications, and to ensure that the communication meets the desired outcome.
- To manage and ensure smooth delivery and execution of communication and PR events/campaigns plans and CSR initiatives for Cyberview and all its subsidiaries.
- To perform editorial tasks, which includes drafting, editing, proof reading and copywriting.
- To monitor and analyze media coverage and provide alerts on strategic news; ensure preparation and circulation of summarized report on areas of interests.
- To assist the Head of Department in crisis communications management for Cyberview and its subsidiaries.
- To identify, recommend and manage media engagement platforms that maximize company’s visibility and strengthen engagement and relationship with target groups.
- To manage and coordinate speaking opportunities for the company’s spokespersons in order to maximize company’s visibility and strengthen engagements and relationships with target groups.
- To propose and manage CSR initiatives including preparations, engagements and coordination with relevant stakeholders for successful executions.
- To manage internal communication ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of information.
- To manage all visits requests to Cyberjaya and Cyberview.
- To plan and manage the unit’s budget spending.
- To adhere and fully comply with the Anti-bribery policy and Anti-bribery management system
- To undertake any additional assignment as instructed by the company.

**Key Responsibility**:

- Plan, implement and manage public relations programs.
- Plan and budget for PR events, programs and initiatives.
- Help in designing and reviewing a variety of promotional and marketing materials.
- Monitor corporate image frequently and ensure it is in compliance with company brand
- Build long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders, such as local government, media people, politicians, etc.
- Develop and implement crisis communications advice and media strategy, as needed

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in the field of communications with minimum of 8 years of working experience 8 years’ experience in PR, communication and events.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Experienced emcee
- Sound understanding on basic requirements for a job in PR & Media.
