The Sales Manager for Proton E-Mas is responsible for leading and managing the electric vehicle (EV) sales team, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, customer satisfaction, and effective market penetration. This role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, and an in-depth understanding of the EV market and customer behavior.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead, train, and motivate the EV sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Monitor daily performance of sales advisors.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for Proton E-Mas models.
- Set sales goals and track performance against KPIs.
- Identify new market opportunities and sales channels.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve escalated issues.
- Build long-term relationships with customers, corporate clients, and fleet buyers.
- Prepare monthly sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Analyze market trends and competitors.
- Ensure the team is well-versed in Proton E-Mas specs, features, EV benefits, and selling points.
- Coordinate with Proton HQ for updated marketing materials or training.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with Proton’s standards, SOPs, and ethical guidelines.
- Oversee correct documentation and processing of vehicle sales.
- Represent the company in roadshows, launches, and EV promotional campaigns.
- Work with marketing team to plan promotions.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Management or related field.
- Diploma with relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales, preferably with electric vehicles (EV).
- Proven leadership or team management experience in sales.
- Strong communication, interpersonal & negotiation skills.
- Knowledgeable in EV technology, government EV policies, and incentives.
- Ability to drive a team towards achieving KPIs.
- Must possess valid driving license (Class D).
- Able to travel if needed.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
**Working Day**: Monday - Saturday (8.30am - 5.00pm)
