**Position: Data Privacy Analyst**

**Tenure: 1 year contract**

**Location: Bangsar South**

**Salary: RM 4000 - RM 5000 ( Open for negotiation)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Data Privacy Support: Assist in the execution of data privacy projects, including assessments, audits, and ongoing compliance activities.
- Regulatory Research: Stay updated with local and international data protection regulations and provide research support on emerging privacy trends.
- Policy and Procedure Assistance: Support in drafting, maintaining, and updating data privacy policies and procedures in line with legal requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to data privacy compliance activities, audits, and risk assessments.
- Data Privacy Incident Management: Help monitor and track data privacy incidents, supporting investigations, resolutions, and reporting as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication: Assist in communicating with internal teams to ensure data privacy processes are understood and followed.
- Training Support: Aid in the development and delivery of internal data privacy training programs and materials.

**Must have**:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is a must, as the role involves working with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and reading documentation in Mandarin.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to work with accuracy, precision, and thoroughness.
- Integrity and Ethics: Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality, upholding high ethical standards, and acting with integrity in all aspects of work.

**Good to have**:

- Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar frameworks.
- Previous experience or internship in data privacy, compliance, or risk management is a plus.
- Familiarity with privacy tools or software (e.g., data mapping, risk assessment tools) would be advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and presenting complex information clearly.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to data analysis and compliance activities.
- Proactive Mindset: Ability to work independently and take the initiative while remaining adaptable to changing priorities and tasks.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset, willing to work closely with colleagues from various departments.
- Curiosity and Growth-Oriented: Strong desire to learn, grow, and develop skills within the data privacy domain.
- End to end policy development & review capability.
