**Company Description**
Tenbex Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (TESB) is an engineering company established in 2004 with offices and workshops across West and East Malaysia. TESB is licensed by PETRONAS as a service contractor/vendor for oil companies operating in Malaysia. With a team of experienced personnel from various oil and gas companies, TESB specializes in rotating equipment maintenance and aims to be the preferred business partner for O&G specialized maintenance and special product/material supply.
**Role Description**
The **Procurement Executive** is responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. The role plays a critical part in supporting business operations by acquiring high-quality materials and services at the best possible price.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Vendor Management**:
- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues related to quality or delivery.
**Procurement Process Management**:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to order placement.
- Issue purchase orders and track delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods/services.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.
**Negotiation & Cost Control**:
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers.
- Seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Analyze market trends to identify sourcing opportunities.
**Documentation & Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate procurement records and databases.
- Prepare reports on procurement activity, supplier performance, and cost analysis.
**Cross-functional Coordination**:
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, Logistics) to align procurement needs.
- Assist in the development of procurement strategies and inventory planning.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
**Education**:
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
