Responsibilities:

- 1. Daily Operations Management: Monitor production activities, ensuring smooth workflow, resolving issues promptly, and coordinating with other departments to avoid delays.

2. Quality Control: Ensure products meet quality standards by adhering to company policies and industry standards. Report any quality defects or non-compliance.

3. Inventory Management: Monitor raw material inventory, coordinating with the procurement department to ensure materials are stocked for uninterrupted production.

4. Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, update job sheets, and ensure compliance with relevant audit standards.

5. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the production environment complies with occupational safety laws and regulations, conducting periodic safety checks.

6. Team Supervision: Assist in supervising production staff, providing guidance, and ensuring staff adhere to production schedules and safety guidelines.

7. Communication: Serve as a liaison between management and production staff, ensuring clear communication of goals, timelines, and expectations.

Qualification / Knowledge / Skills Requirement:

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production coordination, preferably in the plastic injection molding industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO) and safety regulations.
- Computer literacy, especially with production management software (ERP / MRP systems).
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Malay; Proficiency in other languages (e.g., Bangla, Nepali, or Mandarin) is an advantage.

Authority:

- 1. Decision-Making: The Production Coordinator has the authority to adjust daily production schedules to meet deadlines or address workflow disruptions, following approval from the Production Manager.

2. Supervision: Oversees production staffs, ensuring adherence to company standards and safety regulations.

3. Process Improvement: Recommends process and workflow improvements to the Production Manager for enhancing efficiency and productivity.

Working Condition:

- The role primarily operates in the production area, which may involve exposure to noise, heat, and machinery. Appropriate PPE is required.
- Physical Demands: Walking around the production floor may be necessary.
- Full-time position, Mondays to Saturdays. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Pay: From RM1,900.00 per month
