**POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY**
- Assist the unit’s objective of developing the commercial masterplan for the airport; mainly revolving on the commercial concept and model of a particular airport. The process entails brainstorming; strategic planning and comprehensive research with the purpose of introducing the latest business concept and innovations, and translating it into a feasibility study.
- This study will be evaluated; verified and validated before presentation to the senior management for endorsement and authorization for implementation.

**ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS**
- Support the Manager in implementing commercial master plan activities at Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn Bhd (MA(S)).
- Prepare necessary memo/paper for various approval committees on business concepts/strategy.
- Assist in delivering approved strategy/concepts, aligned with strategic objectives comprising of:

- Airport development - New airport/ Redevelopment/ Expansion
- Financial - Budgeting / Financial Model
- Benchmarking and rental model
- Retail Mix composition
- New outlets concept generation
- Effective management of CAPEX / Investment through ROI analysis
- Procurement strategy i.e. Package Deal, Direct Award, Direct Negotiation and Open Tender.
- Non-financial monitoring - Customer Experience / Transition Management
- Monitor the implementation of commercial master plan activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
- Conduct financial performance monitoring through variance reporting and track progress accordingly.
- Research and analyze new/trending product category and brand offering for revenue enhancement, passenger comfort and experience through:

- Space and product planning (Category Management)
- Retail Technology Development
- Brand identification & new business relationship
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on tender preparation, project management,contract management, and progress monitoring.
- Prepare and update the sales kit for KLIA to facilitate commercial space pre-selling.
- Identify and presell commercial space to the potential business partners.
- Strategize, execution and monitoring of the Bumiputera Empowerment Agenda, planning space utilization and fostering alliances with relevant government agencies.
- As and when required to perform ad hoc tasks.

**Skills**:

- Thoroughness, accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Service driven, highly motivated and able to work independently and in a team

**Relevant Industries**:

- Degree with 1 years Managerial experience in Airport Commercial /Retail Management and/or a multi retail outlet establishment

**Education**:

- Degree preferably specialise in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management or Commercial Management with 1 years related experience
