**Mechanical Technician | Basic 2K - 3K | Shah Alam** - **Industry: Manufacturer of Roofing Products**: - **Benefits: Allowances (attendance, meal & shift), OT, performance bonus, 5-day week, medical, insurance, etc** - Provide effective maintenance work to ensure minimum downtime of production machinery. Coordinate the maintenance and repair work. - Assist Supervisor in executing day to day production floor operation, ensure smooth running of production and plant operation in achieving quality production output targets. - Assist Supervisor to plan for preventive maintenance with proper lifespan tracking of vital machinery in the plant. - Ensure that a high standard and procedures of Health & Safety is achieved and maintained, & continuously promote "See it, Own it" culture. - Assist supervisor and operators to ensure proper machine set up and smooth operation. which includes propulsion unit setting, knife-cut setting and pallets are guided into propulsion & making section accurately to prevent damages to the pallets - Service and maintain the hard metal tooling, recording and monitoring the wear of the slipper and rollers. - Identifying and troubleshooting machine problems - Complete fabrication projects to improve production processes - Support production operations as and when required - Assist to inspect and ensure product quality is within the process specification. - Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out according to the schedule. - To participate in production improvement programs, eg., 5S, TPM, zero accident.FE - Ensure safety and housekeeping in the workshop, Electrical room and PLC room - To perform other duties as necessary when instructed by superior. - Inspect machinery regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance. - Perform weekly preventive maintenance schedules. - Conduct preventive maintenance work and follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work **Requirements**: - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. - College certificate or above in mechanical, automation or related field or at least 2 years factory equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing industry - Good mechanical skills, troubleshoot, and solve problems systematically - Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines. - Willing to work extended hours or even during holidays Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month Application Question(s): - Can you work at Shah Alam.
