**Position Overview**:
The Accountant at HDL Solutions Sdn Bhd will play a vital role in maintaining the company’s financial health and ensuring smooth financial operations. The position involves managing and analyzing financial data, handling invoices and payments, tracking expenses, supporting payroll, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Financial Data Management**
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records.
**2. Accounts Payable and Receivable**
- Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring timely and correct payments.
- Generate and monitor customer invoices and track receivables.
**3. Bank Reconciliation**
- Reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
**4. Expense Tracking**
- Monitor and record company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgets.
**5. Financial Reporting**
- Prepare financial reports, including monthly and annual statements, for management review.
- Support financial analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.
**6. Compliance and Internal Controls**
- Ensure all financial activities comply with local regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Support audits by providing accurate documentation and records.
**7. Communication and Collaboration**
- Work closely with other departments to resolve financial issues and gather necessary data.
- Liaise with vendors and clients to address payment or invoicing inquiries.
**8. General Administrative Support**
- Organize financial documents, schedules, and other administrative tasks as needed.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounting role (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
