Safety Officer

Participate in the formulation of project-related safety production management systems, safety technical measures plans and safety technical operating procedures, and implement and inspect the implementation. - Carry out safety inspections every day, and promptly correct and investigate behaviors and personnel who violate rules and regulations, illegal operations, and violations of safety production discipline. It has the right to order the rectification of hidden safety hazards existing on the construction site, and to request that the construction be stopped on the spot for rectification for major safety hazards and illegal operations. - Carry out side-by-side supervision on the implementation process of the special construction plan for the safety of the more dangerous projects. - To supervise the implementation of rectification of potential safety hazards found in various inspections, and review the rectification results. - Organize daily safety education for the project, conduct three-level safety education for workers entering the site, and urge teams to carry out pre-class safety activities. - Participate in the acceptance of on-site mechanical equipment, electrical facilities, safety protection facilities and fire protection facilities. - Establish project safety management data files, truthfully record and collect data on safety inspection, disclosure, acceptance, education and training and other safety activities. - If a production safety accident occurs, report it immediately, participate in the rescue, protect the scene, and make detailed records of the accident, emergency response and handling process; - Implement the national guidelines, policies, regulations and regulations on labor protection and production safety, fully implement the policy of "safety first, prevention first, and comprehensive management", and earnestly do a good job in labor protection, production safety and fire protection. - Investigate and study unsafe factors in production, put forward suggestions for improvement, participate in reviewing safety technical measures and plans, and supervise and inspect the implementation. - Do a good job in safety publicity, education and management, assist in formulating and supervising the implementation of safety technical training, participate in the design of relevant construction safety organizations and the installation, use and acceptance of various construction machinery, and supervise and guide the correct use of electrical circuits and personal protective equipment. - To stop illegal operations and illegal command, when major hidden dangers are found, when there is a conflict between safety and progress, safety must be the first priority, the right to suspend operations, withdraw personnel, report to the superior in a timely manner, and put forward suggestions and measures for improvement. - In the event of serious injury or above accidents at the construction site, they should go to the site to organize rescue, protect the site, report the accident situation in time, conduct statistics, analysis and reporting of work-related accidents, and participate in the accident investigation and handling according to the principle of "four not let go". - Other tasks assigned by superiors. **Job Requirement** - At least 1-2 years of work experience in related work fields (food manufacturing) - Proficient in Excel and MS Word - Well versed in English, Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia (written & spoken) - Initiative, trustworthy, positive attitude, flexible and well-organized - Be able to work independently, result-oriented and able to handle multitasking - Good analytical skill, able to coordinate & co-operate with other department - Have strong safety knowledge and awareness, be familiar with enterprise safety and fire management knowledge, and be able to complete safety management work independently **Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per hour **Education**: - Bachelor's (preferred) **Experience**: - food manufacturing: 2 years (preferred) **Language**: - Mandarin (preferred)
