**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and manage site-specific safety policies, plans, procedures, HIRARC, and all related safety documentation.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and teams to embed safety measures into project planning and execution processes.
- Participate in project meetings to provide safety updates and present HIRARC alongside the project team.
- Conduct Pre-Task Talks (PTT) and perform routine site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Plan and conduct safety training sessions for contractors.
- Ensure all personnel are informed about safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Keep accurate records of safety incidents, training activities, and other safety-related matters; prepare reports for management as needed.
- Stay informed on applicable local, state, and federal safety regulations to ensure ongoing site compliance.
- Support audits and inspections by regulatory bodies, clients, or site-specific requirements.
- Develop and execute emergency response plans and organize safety drills.
- Coordinate with emergency services and ensure the availability of first aid supplies and safety equipment.
- Serve as the point of contact for safety issues between project teams, employees, subcontractors, and external parties.
- Prepare and deliver safety performance updates and reports to management.
- Foster a strong safety culture and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
- Recommend enhancements to existing safety procedures based on current industry standards and best practices.
- Oversee the implementation of ISO 45001 standards.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- **Experience**: At least 5 years in a safety-related role, preferably within M&E or data center projects.
- **Certifications**: Must be a certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) registered with DOSH (valid Green Book holder). ISO 45001 auditing certification and lifting supervisor certification are advantageous.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong risk assessment and mitigation capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with safety practices on construction sites.
- Must hold a valid Green Book.
- Immediate availability is preferred (urgent hiring).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
