**The Opportunity**

We’re looking for a **Collection Team Lead** to join our fast-growing team. You will lead a team of 3 executives, work closely with management to set the collection strategy, determine and monitor KPIs, and roll up your sleeves to drive hands-on collection results. You’ll working closely with the CEO and have a clear career path into management or credit, depending on your growth ambitions.

**What Will You Be Doing?**
- **Lead & Manage**: Supervise and guide a team of 3 collection executives to meet individual and team KPIs.
- **Process & Strategy**: Formulate and improve collection workflows, scripts, and escalation procedures to drive repayment efficiency and customer experience.
- **Hands-On Collections**: Contact, negotiate, and follow up with customers for repayments, settlements, or structured payment plans—especially on more complex or escalated accounts.
- **Reporting & Insights**: Track team performance, prepare weekly/monthly reports, and provide recommendations to improve recovery rates and reduce overdue cases.
- **Customer Experience**: Ensure all customer interactions are handled in a professional, empathetic and respectful manner—aligned with Direct Lending’s mission of financial inclusion.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify patterns and challenges in collection and propose solutions to enhance team performance and business growth.

**Are You the One?**
- Minimum **3 years of experience** in collections, preferably in personal financing, easy payment schemes, or business financing.
- Experience leading or mentoring a team
- Strong communicator and negotiator—able to handle tough conversations with empathy and firmness.
- **Results-oriented**, motivated by targets, and always looking for ways to improve.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and persistent in follow-ups.
- Good command of **Bahasa Malaysia and English**.
- Passionate about helping customers and making a positive impact through responsible lending.
