1. Lead production operations. Strong leadership attitude needed.

2. Coordinate production staff and equipment. Set a budget, assign job duties, determine equipment and supplies required, and build a production schedule.

3. Hires and trains the workforce for a target. Manage and motivate the staff, monitoring them to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.

4. Monitor the progress of production, confirming that it stays on schedule and within budget and report to Production Manager and team.

5. Always be on the lookout for problems hampering effectiveness. You are expected to develop new and cost effective ways to improve quality and productivity.
