**Finance & Operations Lead**
**About the Role**
We are a growing SME seeking an experienced and versatile **Finance & Operations Lead** to take charge of our finance, accounting, HR, and administrative functions. This is a key position reporting directly to top management, with **Finance as the core responsibility**, and the opportunity to contribute to business decision-making and future growth.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the **full set of accounts** including GL, AR, AP, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare **monthly management reports**, Budget, Cash Flow Statement & Forecasts and Financial Projection
- Handle **budget planning, variance analysis**, and cost control monitoring
- Provide **financial analysis to support decision-making** and operational matters.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including SST, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and liaise with auditors during audits.
- Handle office administrative functions, assets purchase and maintenance, licensing, insurance and documentation
- Handle Human Resource administrative functions including Training, Leave Management, Recruitment, Employment documentation and Employee Communication.
- Ensure compliance with **Labour Law** and HR-related statutory regulations
- Lead the ISO Auditors to ensure Compliance with quality audit
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and regulatory bodies
- Recommend and implement improvements in **financial and operation systems and internal controls**:
- Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and government bodies
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Chartered Accountant with associate membership with professional bodies such as **ICAEW** or **ACCA** will be preferred.
- **Minimum 8 years’ experience** in Finance & Admin roles, preferably in an SME environment.
- Preferably those with **audit experience** (especially in established Audit Firm)
- At least **3 years in a supervisory or lead role**:
- Proficient in accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of **Malaysian Tax, SST, audit**and **statutory compliance** as well as good exposure to **International Tax**:
- Exposure to basic **HR functions** is required
- Meticulous, self-driven, multi-tasking and able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Prior SME experience is a bonus
