- What are you going to do?
- In this role you are the lead Finance business partner for Enza Zaden in Asia. Being a trusted advisor to senior management, you support the Regional Director. You lead the Finance Operations teams in the region and your focus is on being the trusted Finance business partner for Senior Management in the region. You are member of the regional management team and support the organization with strategy development and execution, you lead business development activities and you execute the plan-to-perform cycle.
- Enza Zaden is growing fast. The sector, technology and competition are rapidly changing. Environmental challenges, industry consolidation and internationalization, digitization to name a few. In the region, we are building our organization. It’s your role to co-drive this growth and focus on the financial and business performance.
- To constantly define and review priorities for Finance in the region, you will work very closely with the Regional Director and Regional Senior Management. Reporting to the Global Manager Business Control based in the Netherlands, you lead the Finance team in Asia. Your Finance team is based in India, Malaysia and China. In the global Finance team you will work together with Global Business Control, Finance Operations/Financial Control and the Global Centres of Expertise (tax, risk and treasury). You drive the development of the regional organization for which you are one of the key change agents. Furthermore, you manage the Finance Operations processes and plan-to-perform cycle. You work with several business stakeholders from all key business functions of Enza Zaden focused on the development, production, distribution and sales of seeds of the crops we’re active in.
- Key focus areas in the role of Regional Finance Manager Asia are:

- Be the business
- and sparring partner for Senior Management in the region on the financial and business performance;
- Co-define the strategy of the region and contribute to strategic decision making as member of the regional MT;
- Drive and optimize the financial performance of the region and from there, contribute to the overall performance of Enza Zaden;
- Lead and drive functional business development activities (e.g., strategies, business cases, investment plans, etc.);
- Ensure the Finance Operations and Business Control activities by managing and executing the Global standard Finance processes in the region (purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report and plan-to-perform);
- Build, develop and maintain a best-in-class Finance team in the region.

You’re experienced in working in an international organization and overseeing a regional multinational scope. Working with senior managers, building your own plan and creating sponsorship and leading change are a few of your key capabilities. - Most likely you have at least several years of experience in a senior Finance business partner role or Finance manager role in an international organization with remote teams. You easily connect with others and you have a good understanding of Finance processes on a global scale. Contributing to the right decision making is what you consider an exciting challenge and your general Finance professionality enables you to lead.

- Have at least 10 years professional experience in Finance & Control and managerial positions in an international context and hold a University degree;
- Have experience in an international and multi-cultural work environment;
- Have an analytical and strategic mindset;
- Have proven stakeholder management capabilities at all levels, and you know how to make impact and influence regional senior management
- Are a team player with high integrity with a personal and professional point of view;
- Are proficient in the English language;
