POSITION NAME **:QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER**

WORKING DAYS/ HOUR **:MONDAY - FRIDAY (8:00 - 5:00) - (SATURDAY ALTERNATE)**

SALARY **:RM4, 500 - RM6, 000**

**Job summary**:

- Heads with overall responsibilities in Quality Assurance Department including to hold any product & operation from receiving to out-going if found non-compliance to product quality standard, food safety requirement and food regulations and anything regarding quality assurance, quality control & product development matters.

**Job responsibilities**:

- To ensure that the QMS and all SOP’s strictly adhere to statutory & food safety requirements and assisting in ensuring that continuous improvements are made to all existing system & practices.
- Lead the Food Safety/Quality Team in the development, implementation and maintenance of the food safety and quality systems.
- Create value-added activities to existing quality systems (ISO 9001, HACCP, Food Safety, Halal) via auditing programme.
- Handling all customer complaints by preparing clear and concise reports within the established timeframes by coordinating a full root cause analysis is carried out and proper corrective/preventive action is taken to address the issues.
- To develop, implement and maintain document control processes for the efficient management and record keeping of the internal and external documentations/audits
- To guiding production staff about quality measures and setting objectives for quality compliance for achieving the company objectives. Overseeing management of the documentation system, investigations, roof cause analyses, and corrective action.
- Ensure compliance to government, international and all regulatory requirements.
- Providing input into improving manufacturing processes
- Support production team in quality parameters, especially when there is deviation occur.
- Developing and implementing policies, standards and procedures, and technical work for the industry.

**Job requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent Food Science / Food Technology / Chemistry / Microbiology with minimum 10 years of related working experiences.
- At least 5 years of experience at Managerial Level specialized in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent in food industry.
- Good experience in understanding and implementation of Halal, GMP, HACCP and ISO 9001 standards requirement preferable at internal and external auditor level.
- Act as Management Representative (MR) on Quality matters and assist the Head of Company in the implementation and maintenance of the Quality System to the International Standard ISO 9001: 2015, HACCP and HALAL Certification.
- Able to read and speak in Mandarin is an advantage
- Responsible for the Document Control Centre (DCC) for effective control & maintenance of quality / safety related documents / records throughout the company.
- Able to read and speak in Mandarin is an advantage
- Skillful in laboratory analytical method, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.
- Good knowledge in microbiology and hygiene standards
- Able to maintain high performance standards / goals and encouraging, motivating, coaching the team members to achieve the objectives / goals. Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Clear report writing skill. Resourceful and results oriented with good follow-through work habits.

**Salary**: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
