**Position name**: Quality Assurance Executive

**Location**: Carjen Food Sdn Bhd, Taman Teknologi Cheng, Melaka

**Working days/ hour**: Monday - Friday (8:00 - 5:00) - (Saturday Alternate)

**Salary**: RM2, 400 - RM3, 200
- Responsible to implementation and maintaining Integrated Management System (IMS) based on of ISO 9000:2015 Quality Management and HACCP.
- Accountable for QA system, effectiveness of IMS and in compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
- Highlights and advises on matters pertaining to quality of products stored in warehouses, pest management program, Good Warehouse Practices and hygiene.
- Ensure the effectiveness of quality problems and discuss with the respective Head of Department for corrective action.
- To ensure that the required food safety and quality training is conducted for all employees as per training plan.
- Investigated the customers’ complaint on product quality and initiated for continual improvement plan.
- To coordinate Quality and HACCP team & HACCP Review Meeting.
- Responsible for yearly internal audit and third party audit/ customer compliance audit
- To coordinate supplier visits/ audit
- Evaluate acceptability of new ingredient submissions to fulfilling in house or industrial acceptance standard.
- Liaising with external laboratory parties for any lab test.
- Responsible for product label ingredient/nutritional generation and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

**Requirement**:

- Minimum 2 - 5 years' experience in quality assurance in a food manufacturing or food processing industry.
- Good working knowledge and experience in food processing mainly in GMP, HACCP, HALAL, Food Regulations, Quality Management Systems and processes.
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Quality Control/ Assurance, Foods Technology, Engineering (Chemistry/Biology/Food Technology) or equivalent qualification with relevant manufacturing working experience.
- Competent person with CePIETSO (BP, PCP) Certified Environmental Professional in Industrial Effluent Treatment System will be added advantage
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Fluent speaking and writing in English and Bahasa Malaysia, ability to converse in Mandarin is an advantage
