As a product engineer, you play a vital role in assuring the quality and performance of TI's innovative IC products.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Support development and implementation of strategies to achieve profitability targets on assigned product lines through new products development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects.
- Responsible for all aspects of engineering activities associated with portfolio management.
- Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues; optimize test time.
- Work with production team for productivity, delivery and quality improvement.
- ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test hardware and software.
- Comprehensive device debugging, design validation and failure analysis.
- Primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to assigned portfolio, including supply chain management, manufacturing, quality, customer service, sales and marketing, technical publications, document control, etc.
- Lead and facilitate cross function teams for problem solving. This includes coordination activities with Product Engineers in other regions to achieve common goals.
- Take leadership role to establish relationships with key contacts in wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites to ensure strong communication and effective problem solving.

QUALIFICATIONS

**Minimum requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Fresh graduates to less than 2 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher.

**Preferred qualifications**
- Knowledge in semiconductors and/or product/test engineering is added advantage.
- Possesses understanding of electronics, circuit design and layout processes.
- Some knowledge of statistics and tools to analyze large amounts of characterization data and determine and set production test limits and predict yield data.
- Ability to work in a team setup comprising of other functional groups.
- Position demands excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
- Possess track record of effective problem-solving, good engineering judgment and decision-making skills.
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Strongly driven to produce results in timely fashion and having strong sense of competitive urgency.
- Must be willing to travel overseas for training and assignments.
