**A Day in Your Life at MKS**:
As the **Global Import/Export Compliance Manager** at MKS, you will work closely with teams across the company—materials, sales, customer service, and logistics—to ensure that our global import/export processes are fully compliant and efficient. You will lead efforts to streamline documentation, coordinate logistics, and conduct trade compliance checks while continuously improving processes. Your work will ensure that shipments meet regulatory requirements, arrive on time, and stay within budget, helping maintain smooth global trade operations.

In this role, you will report to the **Senior Manager Materials Management** and be a key player in maintaining our company’s global compliance standards.

**You Will Make an Impact By**:

- Oversee global compliance for all import and export operations, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations, customs laws, and internal policies.
- Manage and monitor trade compliance documentation, including import/export declarations, licenses, permits, and customs filings.
- Coordinate with logistics providers and internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of goods.
- Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain processes for efficient handling of customs clearance, tariff classification, and valuation of goods for global shipments.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes in international trade and provide ongoing training to cross-functional teams on compliance requirements.

**Skills You Bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in global trade compliance, import/export operations, or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance standards (e.g., OFAC, EAR, ITAR, etc.).
- Proficiency with trade compliance software and ERP systems, along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
