**Job Overview**:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing new business opportunities to support the company's growth objectives. They will be tasked with establishing and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive revenue and achieve business goals

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **1. Market Research**_:_
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Analyse industry trends, competitors, and potential market segments to inform business development strategies.
- **2. Lead Generation**:_
- Qualify leads to ensure they align with the company's target customer profile.
- **3. Client Relationship Management**_:_
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs and pain points to tailor solutions accordingly.
- **4. Sales and Pitching**_:_
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business deals.
- **5. Strategy Development**_:_
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute business development strategies.
- Create and implement action plans to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- **6. Networking**_:_
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand the company's network.
- Identify potential strategic partners for collaborations or alliances.
- **7. Reporting and Analysis**_:_
- Track and report on sales and business development activities.
- Analyse data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:

- Industry-specific knowledge and experience on IT & Automation products for the Process / Energy / Building and Engineering industries
- Experience with contract negotiations and closing deals.
- Familiarity with market research and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the industry.

**Working Conditions**:

- This role may require travel to meet with clients or attend industry events.
- Work hours may vary and include evenings and weekends, depending on business needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
