Job Summary
- To assist the QA Manager in carrying out all the QA programs to ensure food safety and quality compliance. Tasks include product quality monitoring, product cuttings, routine/ ad hoc product sampling for microb testing, internal suppliers/ warehouse production checks, preparation of product samples from alternative supplier for evaluation, preparations of QA reports and documents, shelf life study, review/ verification of product SOP, tear down analysis for competitor check, validation study/ field trials for new ingredients or equipment and investigation of food quality complaints.

Job Responsibility
- Conduct product cuttings on key ingredients on quarterly basis to monitor the product quality and identify issues for corrective action/ continuous improvement.
- Assist in preparation of product samples from alternative suppliers for testing/ evaluation to approve the product for contingency or as a secondary supplier.
- Conduct internal supplier production and warehouse quarterly QA check to ensure the adherence to Quality Assurance Program (QAP) and food safety standards.
- Assist to develop product SOP/ quality guide as reference guide.
- Conduct pizza tear down analysis and competitor checks with QA, Operation and Marketing to gauge product quality execution by outlet vs competitor.
- Assist in validation study/ store trials for new ingredients for approval purpose where applicable.
- Assist in validation study/ testing for new equipment for approval and/ or to establish the right setting for the optimum product quality.
- Conduct routine microbe test sampling on products in the store to ensure product meet specification and monitor store handling of ingredients.
- Conduct microbe test sampling of ingredients to establish secondary shelf life for SOP.
- Review Certificate of Analysis (COA) of incoming core ingredients where relevant to ensure that parameters meet product specifications.
- Work with FIT team to establish the cooking method for alternative suppliers.
- Regular monitoring and tracking of halal cert validity of all ingredients to ensure compliance.
- Preparation of QA reports and documents.

Qualification and Skills Requirements
- Degree holder in Food Science & Technology or related discipline
- Knowledgeable & experience in food safety standard and product testing (HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, YUM STAR Audits
- At least 1 to 3 years experience in food industry
- Fresh graduate may be considered depending on knowledge and qualification

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
